Hilsa Fish: Not Ganga-Padma, Hilsa rises 400 km in Mansai river Now.

Bengali Blogging News Desk: Not Ganga, not Padma, Hilsa was seen in Mansai river at this time. The river flows past the town of Mathabhanga in Kochbihar. It is not uncommon for hilsa fish to come so bright. However, hilsa fish does not come regularly in this way. The local fishermen are very happy in that regard. In the next few days, the 'Hilsa hunting' campaign has also started.

According to the locals, a small amount of hilsa fish is harvested from the Mansai river every year. Three years ago, a good amount of hilsa fish was suddenly caught by fishermen. But then who is that. It started raining late this year too. So hilsa did not come here. Fishermen say that Mansai entered Bangladesh and merged with the Brahmaputra.

Again the Brahmaputra coincides with the Padma. Despite the fact that the river route from the Padma to Mansai is 400 km, hilsa fish occasionally flows on this route. This time, of course, everyone gave up hope. But to everyone's surprise, the area adjacent to Mathabhanga city, Nishiganj and East Bhogdabari area has recently caught hilsa. It also contains one kg and two hundred village fish.

Samu Das is a local fisherman. He said, “Many people came to the riverbank in the morning to buy fish after getting the news of hilsa. I hope to get more. ”Ratul Ghoshal, Fisheries Officer, Mathabhanga-1 Block, said,“ Some amount of Hilsa is available in Mathabhanga Mansai. However, it does not taste like Padma or Ganges hilsa. Of course, there is no harm in that. Fresh hilsa is available. The local people are happy with that.

Seeing a swarm of fish on this day, the local fisheries officials are also hopeful that Rupoli grains will be available from Mansai throughout the month of November.

The government of India was the buyer of Pegasus: Chidambaram

New Delhi, Oct 29: Senior Congress leader P Chidambaram on Friday claimed that the Israeli spyware was procured by the Indian government in the backdrop of the Supreme Court setting up a three-member committee to probe the Pegasus spying case.

Also, Read Virender Sehwag Turns 43 Today Happy Birthday

He tweeted, "Following the Supreme Court's prudent and bold order in the Pegasus controversy, the first cover has been removed. Yesterday, Israel's ambassador publicly stated that Pegasus spyware was only sold to the government. This means that in the case of India, the buyer was definitely the Government of India.

Former Home Minister Chidambaram also said, "Will the Telecom Minister accept that the purchaser of Pegasus was the Government of India? If he keeps quiet, his report card will remain a blot."

Israel's newly-appointed Ambassador to India Naor Gilone on Thursday termed the controversy over the alleged use of spyware Pegasus as an "internal matter" of India, saying companies like NSO cannot sell their products to NGOs, organizations, or individuals.

Gillon's statement comes at a time when the Supreme Court on Wednesday constituted a three-member committee of experts to probe the alleged spying of Indian nationals, including journalists, activists, and politicians, through NSO's spyware Pegasus. It was said that the government cannot escape every time citing national security.
