The Centre further added that no prior intimation is required within the case of LTC Scheme and for the year 2018-19 (extended till 31.12.2020), the claims are often made before March 31, 2021. 

Prior to this, the Centre had also clarified on the operation part because the scheme is for the LTC block of 2018-21. Normally, a block contains two LTC fares (hometown and anywhere in India). consistent with updates from the Govt , if one has been availed and therefore the other remaining, an equivalent are often utilized for this purpose. However, any unutilized LTC of the block of 2018-21 is eligible. 

The Government said that the LTC scheme is applicable to the LTC fare left unutilized during the Block Year as mentioned within the LTC Cash Voucher Scheme Order effective from Columbus Day , 2020.
